Interim MD/CEO (12m FTC) - Housebuilding.

We are delighted to announce our search for an experienced housebuilding MD/CEO to work on an interim, 12-month, Fixed Term Contract. You will be tasked with leading a corporate strategic review of the business (a SME, traditional housebuilder with a strong land bank), then present your findings to the shareholders.

The successful candidate will have the following responsibilities:

  • Lead a corporate strategy review of the existing business, assessing all aspects including assets, structure, people, and model

  • Produce a business plan that will meet the shareholders requirements

  • Direct the day-to-day running of the business, holding to account, supporting, and motivating the senior management team

  • Lead the organisation in navigating the planning system on current schemes, and to make high quality investment decisions on potential new sites

  • Further develop relationships with key partners and stakeholders

We are keen to speak with individuals with a strong housebuilding background, having held a Managing Director position or above. You are comfortable with due process and corporate governance, having the experience to undertake to the responsibilities outlined above. You are highly credible and give the shareholders confidence in your report, which will enable them to sanction your findings.
