Senior Architectural Technician.

£50,000 - £60,000 plus car allowance, bonus and benefits (DOE).

Our client is an expanding region of a market leading, national housebuilder. They are looking for an experienced Senior Architectural Technician to join their dynamic team and contribute to the successful delivery of our housing projects.

As a Senior Architectural Technician, you will play a key role in the design and technical development of our projects, ensuring they meet high-quality standards, planning regulations, and construction requirements. You will be responsible for producing detailed drawings, coordinating with consultants, and ensuring seamless project execution from concept to completion.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Produce high-quality technical drawings and construction details using Revit.

  • Work collaboratively with the internal design team, external consultants, and contractors.

  • Ensure compliance with UK Building Regulations, planning policies, and other relevant legislation.

  • Provide technical support throughout all project stages, from feasibility to construction.

  • Review and coordinate architectural drawings with other disciplines.

  • Identify and resolve design challenges efficiently and proactively.

  • Support junior team members and contribute to best practices in technical design

Requirements:

  • A minimum of five years of experience in a similar role within the residential sector.

  • Proficiency in Revit is essential.

  • Strong knowledge of UK Building Regulations and construction detailing.

  • Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.

  • Ability to manage multiple projects and work to deadlines.

  • Strong communication skills to liaise effectively with team members, clients, and stakeholders
