Our client is a housebuilder that delivers a wide range of traditional homes. Due to business expansion they now wish to appoint a Land Manager to identify, evaluate and secure sufficient land/sites for residential development to support the Division’s objectives of achieving and maintaining a quality land bank.
Your duties will include:
Establish and maintain effective working relationships with local authorities, agents, landowners and other developers.
Work closely with the land team to conduct land appraisals to determine the valuation of any potential development land.
Objectively assess the potential success of a site by collating build costs, market research, local planning policy and technical information.
Successfully negotiate and prepare offers to meet the land requirements that remain within budget and forecasts.
We are keen to speak with land buyers or managers with track record of securing conditional or unconditional land. You will be able to travel to potential land opportunities and development sites on a regular basis.
