A leading housebuilder is seeking an ambitious Land Manager to join the team. You’ll be responsible for identifying and securing the land opportunities to support the growth strategy. From sourcing sites to navigating complex planning processes, you’ll play a vital role in shaping the future of the business.
Key responsibilities:
Identify and evaluate potential development opportunities through a range of methods, including reviewing statutory development plans, housing land audits, and leveraging an extensive network of contacts.
Lead the acquisition process from start to finish, including site identification, due diligence, negotiation, contract management, and planning through to pre-start activities.
Liaise with internal departments, such as Sales and Technical teams, as well as external consultants, to ensure seamless coordination throughout the land appraisal and bid process.
Monitor and maintain the Division’s land database, ensuring accurate and up-to-date records of site registrations, development plans, and offers submitted.
Build and expand the Division’s network of key contacts, including land agents, landowners, and local authorities, to secure a robust pipeline of opportunities.
Promote and uphold the Group’s values, policies, and procedures, ensuring compliance at all stages of the land acquisition process.
Engage with local communities and stakeholders as necessary to support planning applications and foster positive relationships.
What We’re Looking For
Experience in land acquisition within the housebuilding.
A proactive, entrepreneurial mindset, with the ability to think creatively and identify opportunities.
A full UK driving licence and willingness to travel as required.
